Powering Progress: Procurement and Construction of PV facilities
With more than 1 GWp installed solar PV capacity in Europe, Evklips Energy is considered as preferred partner to project owners across EU.
Our team works for more than 12 years in green power construction sector with wide range of clients. We are used to deliver turn-key solar installations, with minimal disruption to main contractors.
By offering comprehensive solutions we help the EPC company to unlock a range of benefits.
Feasibility Study
The solar feasibility study is the first essential part of each investment project. The report assesses the viability and potential benefits of implementing a solar energy system in a specific location, but also identifies the roadblocks in the beginning of the planning phase. The potential site has numerous implications on the system, solar project viability, system performance, maintenance costs, and installation costs. For ground-mounted solar systems, the topography will indicate if site work needs to be done and could impact the tilt angle of the PV panels.
Procurement
Our suppliers work with high quality components from reputable and sustainable companies, ensuring a reliable supply of modules, inverters, cables, mounting systems and more. This ensures competitive prices and timely delivery of materials to site. We have the necessary manpower, competencies and certifications. Our experience and long-term partnerships with major equipment manufacturers help us deliver components on time. We know that early delivery can lead to storage costs and late delivery can cause costly construction delays.
Preparation of the construction site
We offer complete solar power plant construction, including site preparation, grading, excavation, foundations, construction of mixed areas, roads. Thus providing a solid foundation for long term work. We are equipped to evaluate and probe the rock at your site so that pile driving can proceed successfully.
Euclipse Energy performs all necessary earthwork with our own excavation equipment and trained workforce. This way, developers work with one general contractor, which saves time and is critical to reducing budget costs.
The phases of the cut-and-fill process and the subsequent design of platforms is as follows:
• Carrying out a detailed topographic survey of the zone in question
• Making topographic sections with the implemented earthworks
• Comparing different alternatives and selecting the best option in terms of the volume of material extracted.
Ramming and piling
Evklips Energy is an experienced provider of solar park construction services. Our professionals are familiar with various techniques, materials and challenges associated with pile driving.
The process of setting up the solar park begins with site clearing and preparation, which includes removing any unwanted vegetation, debris or obstacles that may interfere with the work.
Once the site is cleared, the locations where the piles will be installed are marked according to the design.
Activities continue with positioning the equipment and driving the piles, on the marked locations. It is important that each pile is driven in the correct location, because this is the only way to ensure that the structural integrity of the solar farm is maintained.
During this process , careful monitoring is carried out to ensure that the piles are installed vertically and at the correct angle. Verification of depth and alignment is carried out in the final stage, using precision measuring tools. This is done to confirm that the piles meet the engineering design specifications and can support the solar panel structures.
Electromechanical assembly
Mechanical installation involves physically assembling solar panels, mounting structures, carrier systems and other components into place. A carefully planned assembly process at this stage ensures the long-term performance and safety of the systems.
Our mechanical installation services include:
• Mounting structures: we install the structures designed to safely position the solar panels:
• Mounting panels: we ensure that you get maximum efficiency from the sunlight by mounting the solar panels at the angles and heights required by the project.:
• Wiring: proper positioning and secure wiring increases the longevity of the facility.
Our electrical installation services include:
• Connection and configuration: connecting the panels to the inverters and configuring the system ensures efficient energy conversion.
• Electrical panelinstallation: installing an electrical panel and regulating the power distribution controls the flow of electricity in the system.
• Cable connections: safe and insulated cable connections ensure strong and reliable system operation.
• System inspection and testing: we inspect and make tests of the system after installation to ensure that it has been done correctly and safely.
Our electrical installation services include:
- Connection and configuration: connecting the panels to the inverters and configuring the system ensures efficient energy conversion.
- Electrical panelinstallation: installing an electrical panel and regulating the power distribution controls the flow of electricity in the system.
- Cable connections: safe and insulated cable connections ensure strong and reliable system operation.
- Testing and validation: After electrical installation, we perform system tests and ensure that all components are working properly.
Electrical installation
Electrical installation refers to installing electrical systems that convert the energy produced by solar panels into usable energy. This stage is of great importance in creating a safe and solid electrical infrastructure.
• Testing and validation: After electrical installation, we perform system tests and ensure that all components are working properly.
Testing & Commissioning
Following established standards, we ensure system performance and safety through thorough inspections, testing and verification of all components prior to connection to the network.
During the installation process - we check the individual modules. When the project is completed, we do commissioning tests again, including the performance and efficiency of the whole system. These include:
• Visual inspection • inspection for problems with the PV system, e.g. damage to modules, cable connectors, wiring or other PV components such as inverters.
• DC sidemeasurement and testing - resistance test; polarity test;
• System performancetesting - is necessary to ensure that the PV system operates as designed.
Testing & Commissioning
After completing the project, we supervise system start-up and engage to commission and optimize the PV system.
The completion of each stage of the project is generally evidenced by certifications of:
• Mechanical completion - indicates that the facility is mechanically and electrically complete and can be operated safely
• Substantial completion - the facility is tested and fully connected
- Final Completion/Final Acceptance - after the contractor has completed all items on the punch list (if any )
• Commissioning (or commercial operation) - the facility has obtained the necessary licenses and permits; the general contractor has turned over control of the project to the investor; all critical testing has been completed; the facility is synchronized with the grid and able to generate revenue.
